Last week, The OURONN Team was in attendance at Black Tech Week 2024 in Cincinnati, Ohio!

Black Tech Week is an annual, three-day Black Tech Conference gathering thousands of attendees from across the country, interested in all things technology. The conference took place Tuesday, July 16, 2024 through Thursday, July 18, 2024 at The Aronoff Center in Downtown Cincinnati.

This year was the 10th anniversary of the conference and the third year since the conference moved to Cincinnati. Speakers at the conference included Ava DuVernay, Danny Green, Jadejha Edwards, Bishop T.D. Jakes, and OURONN’s very own Co-Founder and Tech Director, Stephanie Muhammad!

On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, Stephanie hosted a solo workshop entitled “Learning to Code”. In the workshop, Stephanie provided attendees with actionable steps to begin their coding journey “the realistic way”. The Question and Answer portion at the end of the workshop gave attendees opportunities to ask questions that ranged from recommendations for their individual coding journey to software development strategies for their upcoming businesses. The workshop was well received by the attendees based on feedback received after the workshop and into the next day!

OURONN’s Co-Founder and Creative Director, Elisha Muhammad, and other members of The OURONN Team were also in attendance for the conference! The OURONN Team thoroughly enjoyed Black Tech Week 2024 and are looking forward to next year.
